Hi, I’m Amy Hengst.

I’m an experienced writer, editor, graphic designer, photographer, and creative thinker, living in Oakland, California.

In my work-a-day, I develop classroom-based and web-based training. I consider myself a writer and have explored many facets of the non-fiction writing discipline: as blogger, journalist, communications specialist, and in educational administration. In my spare time, I do arts and crafts, bicycle around town, and try to fit in miscellaneous adventures.

I have a professional certificate from UC Berkeley Extension in Graphic Design (2010) and BA in Literature from UC Santa Cruz (2003).
